Visit our coastal community, and consider helping us maintain the things our visitors love.

Bamfield is a unique coastal village, with West Bamfield accessible only by boat, explorable by a wooden shoreline boardwalk.

Bamfield is a popular destination for visitors looking for some true west coast texture and experience. Our small community is unincorporated and relies heavily on community volunteerism to maintain amenities and keep things beautiful.

Cedar flower boxes are featured along the length of the Boardwalk. The flower boxes are built and maintained by the community, with residents and businesses handling the day to day watering and tending of the boxes adjacent to their properties

Featuring a stunning view across the ocean to the Deer and Broken Group Islands, this park is a community hub where events such as music, potlucks, and weddings occur.

When you gotta go, you gotta go, but why not make it eco-friendly? West Bamfield maintains three eco-friendly composting toilets for visitors, located on the Boardwalk, at West Park, and at Brady’s Beach.
